Texas A&M is riding a hot streak on the recruiting trail after landing four-star EDGE Bryce Perry-Wright on July 5th. It was a huge win for Mike Elko and the Aggies, but the work isn’t done — not even close.

The next name to know? Lamar Brown.

The 5-star defensive lineman out of Louisiana is set to announce his commitment on July 10, and right now, it’s truly a coin flip between Texas A&M and LSU. Both staffs are pushing hard, and there’s been no real clear leader as of late. If the Aggies can pull this one off, it would be a big-time win in enemy territory and another statement in the trenches.

Not far behind is Tamarion Watkins, the top off-ball linebacker on A&M’s board. The 4-star is planning to make his decision on July 14 and, as of now, A&M holds a slight edge over South Carolina. He’s been a major priority for the Aggies, and they’ve put themselves in a strong spot heading as his commitment date approaches.

Then there’s Tylan Wilson, the versatile safety out of Mississippi who is trending heavily to Texas A&M. He’s set to decide on July 18, and all signs point toward the Aggies being in a great spot. On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) favors A&M over Clemson and Arkansas, and momentum has only been growing as his announcement gets closer.

So, after Bryce Perry-Wright, the Aggies are still very much in the thick of things with multiple top targets. With Brown, Watkins, and Wilson all on deck over the next two weeks, don’t be surprised if A&M’s class keeps stacking up fast.

Recruiting season is heating up — and so are the Aggies.
