Oregon State Beavers In The NFL
Right Tackle, 1st String – Taliese Fuaga – New Orleans Saints
After missing the Saints’ last game with a minor knee injury, Fuaga returned to the starting lineup in the 31-19 loss to the Bills. He played 67 snaps at right tackle in the loss.
Punter – Johnny Hekker – Tennessee Titans
In Tennessee’s 26-0 loss to the Texans, Hekker was busy, punting five times for a total of 213 yards. He averaged 42.6 yards per punt, landed two inside the 20, and had a long punt of 50 yards.
Left Guard, 1st String – Isaac Seumalo – Pittsburgh Steelers
In Pittsburgh’s 24-21 win over the Vikings in Dublin, Seumalo started at left guard and played 51 snaps.
Wide Receiver / 1st String KR/PR – Anthony Gould – Indianapolis Colts
In Indianapolis’ 27-20 loss to the Rams, Gould saw action on 10 special teams snaps. He took four kick returns for 91 yards, averaging 22.8 yards per return, and had a long return of 38 yards. He also handled two punt returns for 31 yards, averaging just over 15 per return.
Linebacker, 1st String – Omar Speights – Los Angeles Rams
In Los Angeles’ 27-20 win over the Colts, Speights started at middle linebacker, played 45 snaps, and finished with the third-most tackles on defense with seven. He also played 19 special teams snaps.
Cornerback, 2nd String – Rejzohn Wright – New Orleans Saints
Wright didn’t see action in New Orleans’ 31-19 loss to the Bills.
Left Guard, 1st String – Blake Brandel – Minnesota Vikings
Starting left guard Donovan Jackson is out with a sore wrist, and Brandel was elevated to starting left guard in the 24-21 loss to the Steelers in Dublin. He played 76 snaps and is proving his worth as a seasoned top reserve capable of filling in when needed.
Cornerback, Nickelback 1st String – Alex Austin – New England Patriots
In New England’s 42-13 win over the Carolina Panthers, Austin saw a reserve role in the secondary, coming off the bench and playing 20 snaps at cornerback. He also saw action on six special teams snaps and finished with one tackle.
Cornerback, 1st String – Nahshon Wright – Chicago Bears
In Chicago’s 25-24 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, Wright started at one of the cornerback positions and played 51 snaps. He finished with four tackles and one tackle for loss.
Wide Receiver, 2nd String – Brandin Cooks – New Orleans Saints
In New Orleans’ 31-19 loss to the Bills, Cooks caught three of his four targets for 22 yards. The fourth target was a near touchdown pass from Spencer Rattler that was just behind Cooks that he wasn’t quite able to hang onto.
Safety, 2nd String – Kitan Oladapo – Green Bay Packers
Oladapo saw action on 13 special teams plays in Green Bay’s 40-40 tie with the Cowboys.
Tight End, 2nd String – Luke Musgrave – Green Bay Packers
In Green Bay’s 40-40 tie with Dallas, Musgrave played 25 snaps on offense, finishing with one catch (his only target) for six yards. He also played nine special teams snaps.
Tight End, 3rd String – Teagan Quitoriano – Atlanta Falcons
In Atlanta’s 34-27 win over the Commanders, Quitoriano saw action on eight offensive plays, all as a run-blocker. He also played nine snaps on special teams.
Practice Squads
DB Jordan Poyer – Buffalo Bills
After a stint with the Miami Dolphins, Poyer is back in Buffalo, this time on the practice squad. Considering his familiarity with Sean McDermott’s defense, should an injury in the DB room happen, Poyer could certainly be elevated.
OL Gerad Lichtenhan – Baltimore Ravens
Playing his lone season for Oregon State in 2024 and starting every game at left tackle, Lichtenhan has signed on with the Ravens’ practice squad.
OG Joshua Gray – Atlanta Falcons
Oregon State’s all-time starts leader, Gray, has signed with the Atlanta Falcons after a standout career with the Beavers.
DB Jaden Robinson – Denver Broncos
After tallying 38 tackles for Oregon State in his final collegiate season in 2024, Robinson has signed with the Broncos’ practice squad.
WR Isaiah Hodgins – Pittsburgh Steelers
The most recent Beaver addition to an NFL roster, Hodgins joined Pittsburgh’s practice squad last week. He’ll be a seasoned and big target for QB Aaron Rodgers should an injury occur and he be called up.
