LA Tech Preview
Louisiana Tech opened its season with a 77-50 loss at Nevada on Tuesday night.
It was a challenging night offensively for the Bulldogs, who managed just 36% from the field and 14% from beyond the arc.
Despite the struggles, there were some bright spots. AJ Bates, Kylan Howze, and DJ Dudley each contributed nine points, while the Bulldogs’ frontcourt trio of Howze, Melian Martinez, and Sir Isaac Herron combined for 15 points, six rebounds, and five blocks.
Lyon College Preview
Lyon College kicked off its 2025-26 season with a hard-fought 65-62 victory over Austin College on Friday.
Leading the charge was 6’8″ forward Trevon Taylor, who poured in 20 points on an efficient 8-of-11 shooting from the field.
The Scots also dominated the boards, outrebounding Austin College by eight en route to the season-opening win.
