Kolbe Fields named CUSA Defensive Preseason Player of the Year
Kolbe Fields was named the CUSA Defensive Preseason Player of the Year on Monday.
Fields, a senior from New Orleans, finished with 71 tackles, 9.5 TFL, 1.5 sacks, 1 INT, and 2 forced fumbles as a junior in 2024.
For his efforts, Fields was a named a All-CUSA Second Team selection following the season for a Bulldog defense that finished 12th nationally in total defense and 26th nationally in scoring defense.
The Bulldogs will kick off their 2025 season at home against Southeastern LA on August 30th.
