Logan Forsythe selected by Braves in 13th round of 2025 MLB Draft

Logan Forsythe was selected in the 13th round of the 2025 MLB Draft by Atlanta Braves on Monday afternoon.

The D’Iberville, MS native spent one season in Ruston after transferring in from Mississippi State last summer.

Forsythe compiled a 5.61 ERA in 51.1 innings pitched for the Bulldogs in 2025.

The right-hander struck out 12.4 hitters per nine innings pitched and limited opponents to a .211 batting average.

This is the fifth consecutive year that the Diamond Dogs have had a player selected in the MLB Draft.
