Parker McCoy commits to Diamond Dogs
Parker McCoy announced his commitment to Louisiana Tech on Wednesday evening.
McCoy, a transfer third baseman from North Carolina, comes to Ruston with three years of eligibility remaining.
The Pembroke, GA native saw minimal action for the Tar Heels in 2025 but did finish with an OPS north of 1.000.
During his high school career at Benedictine Military Academy, McCoy hit .348 with a .508 OBP.
As a result of all the success, the 6’1, 205-pounder was 500th-ranked player overall and 62nd-ranked third baseman in country, per Perfect Game.
