Sun Belt Conference scheduled to vote on LA Tech's Membership into league on Monday

The Sun Belt Conference is scheduled to meet Monday when they are expected to vote on extending an invitation to Louisiana Tech into the league.
Andrew Riedell, with College Baseball Central, first reported the news on Friday.
Louisiana Tech will need 10 of the 13 remaining schools to vote “yes” to receive an invitation into the league.
The Bulldogs were previously a partial member of the Sun Belt from 1991-2001. During that time frame, Louisiana Tech’s football program was an Independent.
Louisiana Tech has a tremendous amount of history with several current Sun Belt members, especially longtime regional rivals likes Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana-Monroe, and Southern Miss.
If invited, sources tell BleedTechBlue.com that the Bulldogs would began play in the league for the 2026-2027 season.
