Vaiden Ellis commits to Diamond Dogs

Vaiden Ellis made his college decision public on Tuesday afternoon, committing to Louisiana Tech.
Ellis, a redshirt sophomore at Meridian Community College, will join Louisiana Tech with two years of eligibility remaining.
When asked about his decision to become a Bulldog, the 6-foot-6, 225-pound right-hander told BleedTechBlue.com, “I loved how passionate the coaches and fans are about the program. I believe the coaches will help me develop both on and off the field. Most importantly, the family atmosphere created by the current players and coaches made my decision easy.”
As a freshman at Meridian in 2025, Ellis proved to be a reliable arm on the mound, holding opponents to a .226 batting average over 33.2 innings pitched.
