What does the Diamond Dogs 2026 roster currently look like?

Louisiana Tech finished its 2025 season at 32-25 overall and missed an NCAA Regional for only the second time in five seasons.

Lane Burroughs and staff welcome high expectations and immediately went to work at the outset of the summer to get the program back to an NCAA Regional in 2026.

Key Returners

C Eli Berch (.243, 5 HR, 42 RBI), 1B Trey Hawsey (.295, 9 HR, 30 RBI), 3B Colton Coates (.244, 4 HR, 33 RBI), OF Zeb Ruddell (.278, 9 HR, 32 RBI), and DH Sebastian Mexico (.315, 12 HR, 57 RBI) return with tremendous upside in 2026 on the position player side.

RHP Brooks Roberson (5-4, 4.90), RHP Blake Hooks (3-0, 2.78), RHP Nate Crider (1-1, 4.40), LHP Luke Nichols (5-6, 6.29), LHP Luke Cooley (7-2, 4.95), and LHP Connor Nation (1-2, 7.39) make up a strong group of veterans returning on the pitching side.

Off-Season Additions

Since the Diamond Dogs wrapped up their 2025 campaign on May 23rd, Tech has added seven players to the roster for next season.

With 17 additional players signed in November, the Diamond Dogs will have a number of new faces in 2026.
