DeShaun Foster and his UCLA squad hit the field for Day 1 of training camp on Wednesday. The Bruins are away from home for a few weeks as they will go through most of camp down in Orange County.

Foster expressed plenty of excitement about the upcoming weeks as his team prepares for its season opener against Utah in exactly one month.

The quarterbacks were naturally a big topic of conversation as newcomer Nico Iamaleava gets his career going with the Bruins as the expected starter this year. Foster addressed where things are at with that group plus a number of other topics ahead of Wednesday’s practice.
