COSTA MESA, Calif. DeShaun Foster continued to add to UCLA’s roster Wednesday prior to the 11th practice of fall camp.

The Bruins added Tulsa interior offensive line transfer Tai Marks earlier in the day, and Foster said he expects Marks to join the team Thursday.

”We’re just excited to get him,” Foster said prior to Wednesday’s practice.

Adding a player with just over two weeks to go until the start of the season is late in the process. However, Foster left open the possibility of Marks seeing action despite his arrival with the Bruins.

“Everybody has an opportunity to compete,” he said. “So, as soon as he can get in here and learn the plays and get up to speed, then we’ll see where he’ll fall on the depth chart.”

The Bruins’ offense continues to be a big focus in training camp. New quarterback Nico Iamaleava and offensive coordinator Tino Sunseri have breathed new life on that side of the ball. UCLA continues to make strides there according to its head coach, and Foster spoke more about the development of the offense Wednesday.

That included breaking down the receiver unit and the tight ends. The latter group, he said, has made the most growth through the first portion of camp.

“I just think that we’re gonna use the tight end any way that we can,” Foster said. “We’re just excited about this being a full offense and not just a one-dimensional thing. Just being a full offense that can run the ball and stretch the field.”

Foster spoke more about the offense, provided updates on injured players and more in his latest address to reporters. Watch the full session below:
