South Florida (7–2, 4–1 American) came out of its bye week with a statement win, overwhelming UTSA (4–5, 2–3) in a 55–23 rout on Salute to Service Night at Raymond James Stadium.

The Bulls raced to a 45–10 halftime lead, sparked by two defensive touchdowns before the offense even took a snap. Safety Tavin Ward opened the scoring with a 40-yard pick-six just eight seconds into the game, and fellow safety Fred Gaskin added an 85-yard fumble return for a score on the next possession.

Quarterback Byrum Brown was masterful once again, starting 10-of-10 for 199 yards and finishing with 348 total yards and three touchdowns (239 passing, 109 rushing). It marked his fifth straight 300-yard total offense performance and his ninth career 100-yard rushing game.

Receiver Keshaun Singleton had a breakout performance with 122 yards and two touchdowns on four receptions, while running back Nykahi Davenport added 94 yards and two scores on just seven carries.

Defensively, USF suffocated the Roadrunners with six sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and held UTSA to 72 rushing yards — well below the 124-yard average of standout back Robert Henry, who was limited to 27 yards.

Safety Jarvis Lee Jr. led the defensive charge with six tackles, three for loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble.

Kicker Nico Gramatica added a 51-yard field goal, his fifth career make from 50+, setting a USF career record and a 40-yard field goal just before the half.
