Cal returns to action Friday night in Blacksburg as the Bears make their first-ever trip to Lane Stadium for a meeting with Virginia Tech. The Hokies have lost back-to-back games, while the Bears are looking to build on a win over UNC.
Justin Wilcox‘s team is just one win shy of bowl eligibility for the second third in a row. Cal has its sights set higher than that, however. The Bears are seeking their first winning season 2019. Locking up a win over the Hokies would help make that more of a reality with a matchup against No. 16 Virginia coming up next week.
