GAME THREAD: Cal visits Boston College to open ACC play

Cal Game Thread (BC)

Cal is ready to begin its second season of ACC play. The Bears (3-1) head to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts Saturday for a meeting with Boston College (1-2). The two teams have only ever met once before back in 1986. The Eagles were able to get the better of the Bears in that matchup, 21-15.

Justin Wilcox‘s team is looking to bounce back from a shutout loss to San Diego State last week. Meanwhile, Bill O’Brien’s BC squad had a bye last week following a road loss to Stanford.

It is a critical game for the Bears as they open ACC play on the road. A win could certainly right the ship again following a 3-0 start. We invite you to join other Golden Bear Report subscribers to discuss the matchup in our live game thread.

Kickoff for Saturday’s matchup is set for 12:30 p.m. PT with the contest set to be broadcast on ACC Network.
