Arkansas junior left-handed pitcher Parker Coil will return for his fourth and final season in Fayetteville, he announced Monday.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Oklahoma native was selected 485th overall in the 16th round of the 2025 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers, but elected to forego the professional ranks for another year with the Hogs.

In 14 total games and 21.1 innings this past season, Coil recorded a 1.27 ERA with 24 strikeouts, two walks, 22 hits and three earned runs. He made 10 mound appearances for the Diamond Hogs up until a March 23 outing against South Carolina, when he sustained a back injury that left him sidelined until May 11.

As one of Arkansas’ most reliable bullpen arms, Coil’s return has massive implications for the Razorbacks’ pitching staff, which was in need of an experienced left-hander after losing names like Zach Root and Landon Beidelschies to the draft.
