Diamond Hogs land Missouri State transfer outfielder

Arkansas baseball added some much-needed depth to its outfield on Tuesday, as Missouri State transfer Zack Stewart announced he is joining the Razorbacks.
The 6-foot-2 junior outfielder brings a load experience having played in 161 games for the Bears over the past three seasons and was a two-time All-MVC selection, as well as MVC Freshman of the Year in 2023.

Stewart, a Lebanon (Mo.) native, started 50 games for Missouri State in 2025 and slashed .269/.371/.495 in 182 at-bats with 49 hits, eight doubles, 11 home runs and 31 runs batted in. Defensively, Stewart compiled a .975 fielding percentage and was charged with two errors.
In the Bears’ 14-13 extra inning, mid-week victory over the Hogs back on March 25, Stewart went 2 for 5 at the plate with a home run and two RBI. In four career games against Arkansas, Stewart finished 4-16 with four runs scored, a homer and three RBI.
