July ProHog MLB update

July has arrived which means 2025 is halfway over, as is the MLB season.
Now over 80 games in to the 2025 campaign, HawgBeat takes a took at how the current ProHogs are performing in The Show. Four former Arkansas Razorbacks are currently on Big League rosters, while righty Trevor Stephan expects to make his season debut for the Cleveland Guardians later this month following elbow reconstruction surgery.
Southpaw Jalen Beeks and catcher James McCann are now playing together in the desert after McCann was signed by the D-Backs on June 22 which was also his season debut, while 2015 Golden Spikes Award and Dick Howser Trophy winner Andrew Benintendi hopes to get on a second half surge for the Chicago White Sox after battling injuries throughout the year.

RHP – Trevor Stephan – Cleveland Guardians
The righty was placed on the 60-day injured list on March 27 to undergo UCL reconstruction surgery on his throwing arm. He began his rehab assignment on June 10 and as of this publication has made his rounds with minor league clubs, his return to the Indians bullpen is expected sometime this month.
