The Arkansas football team begins fall practice later this week, but a group of former Razorbacks are currently in NFL training camps across the country ahead of the start of the NFL season.

All told, there are 32 pro Hogs on NFL rosters this year. 10 of those players were on last year’s team and were either drafted or signed undrafted free agent deals with NFL team in April.

Speaking of the NFL Draft, the Hogs had two players selected back in April. Defensive end Landon Jackson went to the Buffalo Bills and wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa went to the Detroit Lions, both in the third round.

There is one former Razorback missing from training camp this year, as Detroit Lions center Frank Ragnow, who played for the Hogs from 2014 to 2017, announced his retirement from the NFL on June 2.

Along with Ragnow’s retirement, there are two Hogs who are dealing with injuries that will hold them out of training camp for an extended period. Wide receiver Treylon Burks fractured his collarbone over the weekend and linebacker Drew Sanders suffered a foot injury.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are loaded up with former Razorbacks and have the most out of any NFL team this year with five. They picked up running back Ja’Quinden Jackson, defensive back Doneiko Slaughter and defensive tackle Keivie Rose on undrafted free agent deals in April and also drafted kicker Cam Little in 2024 and defensive back Montaric Brown in 2022.
