Quincy Rhodes Jr. and KJ Jackson returning to Arkansas
The Arkansas Razorbacks signed 17 high school prospects for the 2026 class on Wednesday, but new head coach Ryan Silverfield scored two of his biggest additions for next season with star defensive end Quincy Rhodes Jr. and quarterback KJ Jackson returning to play for the Hogs.
Silverfield announced the big news during his introductory press conference as Arkansas’ 35th head football coach on Thursday with Rhodes and Jackson in the crowd with the media.
“Quincy, you’re all in for your senior year?,” Silverfield looked over and asked. Silverfield also got the confirmation from KJ Jackson that he would be back.
A North Little Rock alumnus, Rhodes bursted onto the scene this season as one of the top defensive linemen in the SEC and has been projected as high as a late first round pick on multiple 2026 NFL Draft Boards. Rhodes logged 43 total tackles and finished second in the league with 15.5 tackles for loss and sixth with eight sacks.
Jackson started the Razorbacks’ season finale against Missouri, completing 11 of 17 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown. He finished the 2025 season with 441 passing yards and threes touchdowns.
