Social media reacts to Arkansas' lopsided loss to Notre Dame

With a prime opportunity to rebound from consecutive one-score defeats, the Arkansas Razorbacks put on an embarrassing performance in a 56-13 loss to the No. 22 Notre Dame Fighting Irish before a crowd of 75,111 – 10th highest in program history – at Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Saturday.
The game was essentially over before halftime as the Fighting Irish (2-2) piled up 420 yards of offense to Arkansas’ 207 in the first half. It was the first time the Hogs (2-3, 0-1 SEC) allowed 42 points in the first half at home in 20 years. They ended up with over 600 yards for the day.
Notre Dame star running back Jeremiyah Love scored combined for four touchdowns in the first half. Fighting Irish quarterback CJ Carr completed 22 of 30 pass attempts for 254 yards and four touchdowns.
It could be an interesting couple of weeks in Fayetteville with Arkansas facing an idle week before traveling to No. 15 Tennessee on Oct. 11. Notre Dame will be back at home next week against Boise State.
As always, HawgBeat compiled reactions on social media..
