Arkansas senior quarterback Taylen Green earned his third honor for preseason hardware on Thursday when he was one of 27 signal callers named to the Manning Award watch list.

He was also selected to the watch list for the Maxwell and Davey O’Brien Awards.

The Manning Award is presented by the Allstate Sugar Bowl and given annually to recognize the nation’s top quarterback in honor of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning’s accomplishments.

In his first season with the Hogs last fall after transferring from Boise State, Lewisville (Texas) native started all 13 games, completing 230 of his 381 passes (60.4%) for 3,154 yards and 15 touchdowns to nine interceptions. He also added 602 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground on 156 carries.

Additionally, Green was named the Most Valuable Player of Arkansas’ 39-26 Liberty Bowl victory over Texas Texas after finishing with an Arkansas bowl record 341 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while also rushing for 81 yards and a score.

The Manning Award is the only quarterback award that includes candidates’ postseason performances in its balloting. Finalists will be selected prior to the postseason and the winner will be announced following the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Head Coach Sam Pittman and the Hogs opened preseason practice on August 1 with the first of 25 practices leading into the season opener. The Razorbacks kick off the 2025 season on Saturday, Aug. 30, when they welcome Alabama A&M to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium for a 3:15 p.m. matchup on SEC Network.
