Three Hogs named Second Team All-SEC
Three Razorbacks from last year’s squad were named Second Team All-SEC performers, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Defensive end Quincy Rhodes Jr., left guard Fernando Carmona Jr. and running back Mike Washington were all named to the team.
This is the second year in a row that Carmona has been named All-SEC, as he was selected to the Third Team last year. He is the first offensive lineman to accomplish that since Frank Ragnow in 2016 and 2017.
Carmona started every game in his time at Arkansas. He played left tackle through all of the 2024 season and transitioned to left guard this year, where he started every game.
Rhodes has already announced his return for the 2026 season and had a breakout year in 2025. He racked up 44 total tackles and 15.5 tackles for loss to go along with eight sacks and a forced fumble. He had three multi-sack games in 2025 and became the first Hog to do so since Tre Williams in 2021.
The 15.5 tackles for loss Rhodes had were the most since Trey Flowers in 2015 and are second in the SEC and 13th nationally.
Washington became the primary running back this season and was the 16th plater in Arkansas history to rush for over 1,000 yards. He finished the year with 1,070 yards on the ground and found the end zone eight times on those carries.
He also became the first Razorback to reach 100+ rushing yards in back-to-back games against an SEC opponent since Alex Collins in 2015, after running for 131 yards at Tennessee (Oct. 11) and 147 yards against Texas A&M (Oct. 18).
Carmona and Washington have both accepted invites to the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, on January 31.
