Sheridan's Garner makes history for Points in a Tourney Game!

SHERIDAN, Ind. — Sheridan’s versatile Kenzie Garner became part of Indiana basketball history last spring as the 6-1 senior dropped 40 points on Sectional opponent Lapel. That point total tied her for tenth all-time in a girls IHSAA tourney game since the advent of the modern era (post 1937.)
The Blackhawks needed nearly all of them as they downed a game Bulldog squad, 54-47 to claim the Sectional title. Sheridan would go on to capture a Regional title before being martyred in the Semistate by Rensselaer. The Blackhawks finished their outstanding season 25-2.
