It’s a photo finish
The 2025 season has two games remaining and the difference between the top teams in the rankings is microscopic. The 3C2A and NJCAA championship games will decide the JCGridiron.com Dirty 30 Champion for 2025.
Golden West successfully defended the No. 1 ranking this past weekend with a 33-15 win against No. 5 Saddleback. The Rustlers have an emerging star on offense in Tanner Schmidt (pictured) and the defense shut down a Saddleback offense that had been trampling opponents with the run.
Golden West will play perennial power (4) College of San Mateo in the 3C2A state title game at Orange Coast College on Saturday after the Bulldogs streaked past No. 10 Modesto 38-7.

The NJCAA title game is a rematch of the 2024 championship game as No. 2 Hutchinson will face No. 3 Iowa Western in Canyon, Texas, on December 17. Hutchinson completely blanked No. 8 Northwest Mississippi, 27-0, as quarterback Christian Johnson finished with 223 yards passing and one touchdown while leading the team with 102 yards rushing and another score on the ground. Iowa Western had a 21-0 lead on No. 6 Tyler after the opening quarter and led by four touchdowns in the fourth quarter before cruising to a 41-29 win over the Apaches. The Reivers ran for 223 yards in the game.
The 2025 JCGridiron.com Dirty 30 National Champion will be announced on Thursday, December 18.
In one other NJCAA bowl game, No. 22 Iowa Central scored three times in the fourth quarter to defeat No. 33 Snow College, 38-24, in the Game One Bowl.
Here is the rest of the JCGridiron Dirty 30 Rankings. Just a reminder, the Dirty 30 Rankings do not count games against unaffiliated programs or club programs in the rankings.
