The 2025 season is winding down, and the playoffs have already finished for some while not even started for others.  Double-digit programs still remain in the mix to make a run at the 21st annual JCGridiron.com Dirty 30 National Title.

The Jayhawk Conference has one more game remaining on the regular season schedule and top-ranked Hutchinson (9-0) still has one remaining hurdle when they host No. 28 Garden City this weekend.  A win by Hutchinson likely gives them the top seed in the NJCAA playoffs.

Northwest Mississippi (pictured) took a giant step towards being one of the final four contestants in the NJCAA playoffs when they defeated Gulf Coast 16-13 on Saturday to capture the MACCC title on Saturday.  The Rangers now sit at No. 7 in the Dirty 30 Rankings and will have to wait and see what happens with the seedings.  Northwest was ranked No. 4 in the NJCAA Rankings coming into the week so the win should cement their spot in the final four.

The Wild Wild West playoffs are about to crank up this weekend and three teams in the top 11 will be in action in the opening round.  No. 5 Diablo Valley will host No. 26 Butte in the opening round in Northern California while No. 9 Mt. San Antonio will host No. 18 El Camino and No. 11 Ventura will host No. 15 Cerritos in the south.

Tyler is one win away from the NJCAA Final Four after beating Cisco in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference semifinals, 38-25, on Saturday.  The Apaches will now host a suddenly surging No. 27 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, who defeated Trinity Valley over the weekend (38-31).

One Final Important Note:

The JUCO football world was saddened this past week with the horrific news of the passing of former Laney coach John Beam, who was tragically shot and killed on campus last week in Oakland.  Beam was one of the main subjects in the hit Netflix series Last Chance U in 2020 and did a lot for the visibility of community college athletics nationwide and the state of California.  Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends and former players on their loss.  He will be sorely missed.  “2 Claps Ready Ready”

Here is the rest of the JCGridiron Dirty 30 Rankings.  Just a reminder, the Dirty 30 Rankings do not count games against unaffiliated programs or club programs in the rankings.
