Michigan Women's Basketball: A week in review (Dec. 8 - Dec. 14)

After a brief break in the non-conference schedule to start the Big Ten season, the Michigan women’s basketball program rolled once again in the lone game it played this week, as the non-conference schedule is approaching its conclusion.

December 13

Highlights:

Who: Akron

Where: Ann Arbor, MI

Score: Michigan wins 85-59

Leading Scorer: Syla Swords, Ashley Solfinkavich (17)

Of Note: Another non-conference opponent, another easy victory for Michigan, as the Wolverines led from start to finish and led by as many as 32 points during the game, even as Akron got the score within single digits at the end of the first quarter. U-M had five players score in double-digits in the game as the Wolverines didn’t have to break a sweat.
