It was a quiet week for the Michigan women’s basketball program, as the Wolverines had only one non-conference game left to play as their three-game road trip wrapped up in Detroit.

Who: Detroit Mercy

Where: Calihan Hall (Detroit, MI)

Score: Michigan wins 102-53

Leading Scorer: Mila Holloway (19)

Of Note: It was smooth sailing for the Wolverines in this one, as it jumped out to a big lead in the first quarter thanks to a 26-2 run and never looked back, cruising to another big win over an inferior opponent. U-M had five players in double-digits in the game, with Mila Holloway leading all scorers with 19. Te’Yala Delfosse had the first double-double of her career, scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Brooke Quarles Daniels, Olivia Olson and Mackenzie Mathurin also contributed to the scoring with double-digit performances.

The Wolverines will have two home games this week, hosting Central Michigan on December 3 and opening up conference play against Purdue on December 7 before the non-conference schedule resumes. The CMU game is set for a 7 p.m. EST tipoff on B1G+, and the Purdue contest will tip off at noon EST on the Big Ten Network.
