Eliah Drinkwitz & Mizzou players speak after Texas A&M loss

Mizzou coach Eliah Drinkwitz, as well as four Tiger players, addressed the media after Missouri’s loss to Texas A&M. Here are the full videos of all five.

Eliah Drinkwitz

“I felt like our players laid it on the line. I thought they fought and fought, we kept giving ourselves chances. But ultimately, poor coaching by me,” Drinkwitz said. “Poor coaching by me to put us in position for the fumble before half. … On me, I got to be better there. Players fought, fought, fought, gave us every chance in the world. Just poorly done by me.”

Jamal Roberts

“Just running the ball, getting as much yards as I can get after contact,” Mizzou running back Jamal Roberts said of his performance.

“It was just new looks that (Texas A&M) drew up,” Roberts said of issues in pass protection.

Cayden Green

“They were sending a lot of people,” Mizzou offensive tackle Cayden Green said. “Sending a lot of people away from our side. They’re a really good defense.”

“All losses are the same,” Green said. “Our best ball is ahead of us. We’re going to go back to work on Monday.”

Josiah Trotter

“I just felt like we came out and, especially in the first half, executed and dominated the run. Trying to make them one dimensional,” Mizzou linebacker Josiah Trotter said. “Then just trying to get them off the field.”

Jalen Catalon

“I think it’s all about keeping the main goal the main goal. That’s getting better every single day,” Mizzou safety Jalen Catalon said. “I know football is a game that teaches you about life and how not everything is going to go your way. It’s about how you’re going to attack the next day and how you’re going to come back ready to go.”
