Eliah Drinkwitz, players talk after Mizzou beats South Carolina

Media met with Mizzou coach Eliah Drinkwitz, as well as quarterback Beau Pribula, running back Ahmad Hardy, linebacker Nicholas Rodriguez and defensive tackle Chris McClellan after the Tigers beat South Carolina 29-20. Here are the full videos of each one.
Eliah Drinkwitz
“Ultimately, at halftime, I told our guys, if we will just sure up the boots and we’ll continue to run the ball, we’ll win the game,” Drinkwitz said. “Because in the fourth quarter, you have to run to win. And ultimately, that’s what we were able to do.
“You know, can’t say enough about Jayven Richardson coming in and playing, you know, I’ll have to go back and watch the tape, but man, I was really, really proud of his performance tonight. We made we had a lot of big runs to his side. Really proud of Robby (Meyer) for making that kick. That’s not an easy kick to make in that moment. And he did an excellent job there.”
Beau Pribula
“I’ll never be mad when Ahmad runs for 100 yards each week,” Pribula said. “Getting the run game going, especially just ending the game at the end with the run game. Being so dominant up front, it’s just huge. You know, anytime you can do that, set the line of scrimmage is just massive for our team. So super proud of those guys up front and the backs once again.”
Ahmad Hardy
“Honestly, I didn’t even know I was off the ground until I started spinning, and my legs started kicking,” Hardy said. “So I was like, ‘Oh, well, I’m not down.’ I got excited so I just kept running.”
Nicholas Rodriguez
“Your best play could be your next play, even if your current play, the play you just had, was good, bad, whatever it is, you always have next play,” Rodriguez said. “So you know, you take advantage of the opportunity that’s presented in front of you. And like I said, I just try to be present in the moment, like, forget what happened to play before. You know, we have another opportunity to focus on.”
Chris McClellan
“Come together and play team ball,” McClellan said. “You know, stop the run every week. That’s our main focus week in on defense. … Especially this week coach Drink(witz) told us the message was, ‘Stop the run and have some fun.’ So just gonna keep playing blocks and playing hard on the edges, setting hard edges, making it hard for teams to run the ball in the middle (and) on the outside.”
