The Early Signing Period, a three-day window for college programs to sign recruits, opened Wednesday, and Missouri came away with 19 additions. The Tigers will welcome 15 of those recruits as early enrollees, expecting to be on campus in late January with returning players and transfers.

“We got 15 of them that are going to be mid-year enrollees,” head coach Eli Drinkwitz said. “Which is awesome in getting their development and acclimated to the brotherhood and how we do things.”

Among those December high school graduates, Missouri will have four offensive lineman, including four-star offensive tackle Johnnie Jones Jr. Three-star interior offensive linemen Brandon Anderson, Khalief Canty Jr. and Braylon Ellison, a Missouri legacy and Boonville (Mo.) product, will join Jones.

Quarterback Gavin Sidwar, running back Maxwell Warner and tight end Isaac Jensen are all expected to enroll early as well.

Defensively, Rivals Industry four-stars cornerback Jaxson Gates and safety Jayden McGregory headline a deep secondary class. Three-star safeties Brody Jones and Carter Stewart will also join those defensive backs.

Edges coach Brian Early brought in top-rated junior college prospect DeMarcus Johnson. Rivals Industry four-star Tajh Overton will get his feet wet on the defensive line this spring as well.

Missouri’s summer enrollees

St. Louis (Mo.) University linebacker Keenan Harris will not play basketball this year. The three-star will continue to train alongside Junior Billikens linebackers coach Jerry Stanfield this offseason while playing through a minor knee injury in 2025.

Devyon Hill-Lomax will be playing basketball for Edwardsville (Ill.) High. After his regular-season finale against St. Louis (Mo.) De Smet, the 6-foot-5 wide receiver noted wanting to be a kid a little longer, which the Missouri staff has happily accepted in recent years. Cornerback Ahmod Billins has also played basketball and competed in track and field.

The lone offensive lineman not enrolling early, Brysen Wessell will wrestle and throw shot put for Jackson (Mo.) High.
