Here is the full video of Mizzou forward Mark Mitchell meeting with media Friday ahead of the Tigers’ matchup with Kansas. This year’s Border War will tip off at noon Sunday at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.

“Obviously, you just go on the road, you learn about yourself, you learn a lot about your team and I think we’re just gonna keep learning and keep growing,” Mitchell said of the Tigers’ last game. “When you get in tight games, tight situations, you, obviously, you learn. And no one’s going undefeated. So we’re just gonna keep learning, getting through the bumps and the bruises of the season. But I think we’ve got to improve on some things.”

“Every team’s gonna go through that,” Mitchell said of the Tigers’ loss. “I think last year we lost our game in Memphis early. I think that’s kind of what kept us focused and we got the Kansas game, we were just so hungry. So going into the game like this, obviously you don’t want to just dwell on losses, but you learn and take what you need to do and move forward to the next game.”

“Every year is a new year,” Mitchell said. “Obviously, last year was great and the team we had, the fight and just the energy, it was legendary.”

“We’re still meshing together, learning new things,” Mitchell said. “I think we’re still figuring some things out, but I think we’ve gotten better.”
