Media got a chance to meet with four Missouri Tiger players ahead of Saturday’s revival of the Border War. Here are videos of the full press conferences from quarterback Beau Pribula, center Connor Tollison, safety Jalen Catalon and linebacker Nicholas Rodriguez.

Beau Pribula

“Coach Drink had a couple of speakers come in this summer and speak to the team about the KU/Mizzou rivalry,” Pribula said. “I think that was important because, One, a lot of the guys are new, freshmen or transfers, and two, we haven’t played this game in a while.”

“You love playing big games,” Pribula said. “That’s why you come to schools like Mizzou is to play in big atmospheres.”

Jalen Catalon

“I know everybody outside talks about the game and how big it is, but for us, we’re just focused on getting better,” Catalon said. “And when Saturday comes, putting the ball down and just playing Mizzou football.”

Connor Tollison

“I thought it was a little slow, a little clunky, I think we’ve got to do a little bit better at communication,” Tollison said of the offensive line’s performance in Week 1. “… But you know, it’s always that first game that you’ve got to get out of the way. Improve on it this week and get better.”

Nicholas Rodriguez

“There’s a lot of history there,” Rodriguez said of the Border War. “They’ve been coming and speaking to us about the rivalry and how it goes way back and all the wins and stuff like that. But we’re just really trying to focus on this week, this game, how to prepare and how to beat Kansas.”
