Mizzou players speak ahead of Vanderbilt
Here are the full videos of Mizzou players Josiah Trotter, Keagen Trost, Marvin Burks and Joshua Manning after the group met with local media Tuesday ahead of the Tigers’ trip to Vanderbilt.
Josiah Trotter
“This will be a big challenge when you’ve got a versatile group like that,” Trotter said of Vanderbilt. “They have a really talented group, especially with their tight end Eli Stowers. He’s a really talented tight end, especially in the passing game with how they try to use him.”
Keagen Trost
“We just need to be better,” Trost said of looking back at the game against Auburn. “We need to play more physical, make sure we’re all on the same page and just play better.”
Marvin Burks
“I feel like they have a great offense, Pavia is a great quarterback,” Burks said. “I feel like every team in the country wants to have a quarterback like him just because he’s a competitor. He’s gonna put his body on the line each and every snap and go out there and compete to get a win.”
“We’ve still got to get better in the secondary, communication and things like that,” Burks said. “Just make sure that we handle our end of the bargain because we have a great defensive line, a great Front 7. So, just in the back end, we’re trying to tighten things up and keep on improving.”
Joshua Manning
“I feel like he has a lot of confidence,” Manning said of freshman receiver Donovan Olugbode. “He’s just a natural playmaker.”
