We’re in the slowest part of the sports calendar. Really only the MLB draft going on now. But it’s still easy to miss stuff. So here are links to what we covered in the past week of Mizzou sports.

Football

Kenny kicked off the week with a story about Mizzou trying for another Pennsylvania recruit, then added one about Jayden McGregory breaking ceilings. Then I moved into the top three of my rankings of the best wins of Eliah Drinkwitz’s career.

Kenny added a story about Devyon Hill-Lomax boasting about his teammates, then he wrote about Mizzou staying in the mix for Damani Warren.

I flipped over to the defense in my Scheme School conversation with Clark Brooks for two stories. First we covered the Front 7, then we talked about the safeties.

Kenny added a story about Mizzou quarterback commit Gavin Sidwar passing up the Elite 11.

I continued my look into historic Border War matchups and moved into 1954. Then Kenny wrote about Mizzou continuing to pursue East Coast talent with tight end JT Geraci.

Kenny added a story about Hill-Lomax making his decision to commit, then one about edge rusher Reinaldo Perez being Mizzou’s next target from Ohio.

I finished the week with another post-spring depth chart looking into the linebackers. Kenny finished up with a look at Keenan Harris celebrating a friend’s commitment.

I started a series of the most important players on the 2025 team. Here are the stories that ran last week:

Men’s Basketball

We’re getting to the end of my series ranking the best wins of Dennis Gates’ career as we hit No. 3.
