Players to know

Brendan Terry, Forward

Brendan Terry transferred to SEMO going into the 2024-25 season and instantly became a key part of the team.

After spending two years at Pensacola State College in California, he got to Missouri and earned a Second-Team All-Ohio Valley Conference selection. The 6-foot-7 senior forward was one of just two players on the team to start all 33 games last year. He was third on the team with 11.2 points per game and second with 4.5 rebounds per contest.

He led the team with 24 blocks and was second on the team with 43 steals.

His shooting percentage of 65.3 percent was first on the team, and he pulled down 53 offensive rebounds.

He put up 14 points, but just two rebounds and two steals in the season-opener against Saint Louis.

BJ Ward, Guard

BJ Ward is a returning starter after appearing in all 33 games last season and starting 32. He was fifth on the team in scoring with 8.4 points per game, but made the second most 3-points on the team with 51.

The 6-0 junior from Saint Louis has stuck with the program since starting college ball and looks to be a primary option on offense this year after producing 16 points in the Redhawks’ season-opener against St. Louis.

He led the team with 14 total shot attempts, and was one of three players to take three 3s. Add on the team-high three assists and he should be one of the key guys to keep an eye on when he has the ball.
