The Missouri Tigers held their first of three fall camp scrimmages on Monday. And media got a chance to talk to a handful of players Tuesday.

So who or what stood out to Missouri players in the scrimmage?

Josiah Trotter

“I would say some of the guys in the back end, they really jumped out,” the redshirt sophomore linebacker said. “You know like (senior safety) Caleb Flagg, you know, he had two turnovers. (Redshirt-freshman safety) Jackson Hancock, he’s been having a great past couple of days, too, having some turnovers. Some young guys, you know, popped out. Even some guys in the (linebacker) room, you know, where they popped as young guys. But year, the guys in the back end.”

Khalil Jacobs

“On defense? (Redshirt-freshman cornerback) Cameron Keys, I might be a little biased, he’s from the (Florida) panhandle, but you know, he definitely was a guy that was like, flashing around the field, you know, making his presence known,” the senior linebacker said. “I feel like that’s got, that guy’s got a lot of confidence in himself and he’s ready to put it on display.”

Toriano Pride

“For me, Cam Keys in the room, a younger DB,” the senior cornerback said. “Yeah, he had a few good plays, a lot of good tackles, a pass breakup.”

Ahmad Hardy

“As a whole, the defense,” the sophomore running back said. “The defense did pretty good. And the offense, we did pretty good as well.”

“Physical, we was physical,” Hardy said of what the offense did well.
