Lans finds next college home

6 foot 1 former St. Joseph’s Montvale star Daniel Lans has found his next college home.

Lans is moving from Orange Junior College to D-2 Christian Brothers University.

This season he averaged 14.6 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 5.8 apg while shooting 56%, 29%, 65%.

As a freshman he notched 13.4 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 2.6 apg, 53%, 14%, 66%

After high school he spent a post graduate season playing for the Phelps School.

As a senior at St. Joe’s he averaged 18.6 ppg and was chosen NJ.Com 1st Team All Big North. He was also named NJHoops.com All Improved and All Defender.

As a junior he was good for 10.4 ppg. He was chosen 2nd Team All Big North by the coaches. He was also picked NJHoops.com All Bergen Jamboree Team.

His sophomore season the coaches had him Honorable Mention All Big North United.

Early in his career he was picked a Hoop Group Elite Camp All Star.
