Mitty 2026 guard Devin Cosgriff is one of the top guards in the country and committed to Michigan last month. She visited Ann Arbor the weekend prior to her commitment.

“She’s a perfect fit. Michigan is getting a player who can knock down shots and defend at a high level — but more importantly, they’re getting a winner,” Jason Kidd director Armando Pezos said.

The first-team, All-WCAL selection was a key part of Mitty’s return to the CIF Open Division state title game.

“Devin positively impacts the energy in our gym and locker room with her a positive mindset, relentless motor & tremendous work ethic.  Devin’s communication skills and willingness / ability to defend multiple positions and different styles of play – is one of the many reasons she is invaluable to our program,” Mitty head coach Sue Phillips said. “Dev’s ability to be a three level scorer, means she impacts winning on both sides of the ball.”

“I am confident that not only will Devin make an immediate impact with the University of Michigan women’s basketball program, but predict she will hit the ground running and thrive in their system as well.”

Before transferring to Mitty prior to last season, Cosgriff was a two-year standout at Bishop O’Dowd.

This summer, she is continuing to play for Jason Kidd Select. They will be at the Power 24 Session II (July 13-14) and Power 24 Finals (July 18-21) in Cincinnati. After these events, they will do a tour in Greece at the end of July and the Hong Kong from August 3-10.

“Devin’s poise, competitiveness, and ability to impact the game on both ends have really stood out, “Pezos said. “Her shot-making, pace, and defensive intensity have been consistent all summer.”

Cosgriff is ranked No. 2 as a 5-star prospect in the 2026 NorCal rankings. She is one of three Mitty players in the top 8 for the rising senior class.
