LIVE: Game Thread
In the words of Mike Gundy, “well, we’re back at it.”
We’ve made it back safely for our 26th football season and Gundy’s 21st. New digs here on On3.com, with some new friends along for the ride.
If you’re new here, you might not know about a staple of The Corral that’s typically the highlight of the year 12-14 times per football season. That’s the “LIVE: Game Thread.” We have one for each and every Cowboy game, which allows you talk about the game as it happens with fellow Pokes, whether you’re at the game, watching on TV or in some unfortunate situation where you’re relying on others to tell you about what’s happening.
Community has always been the #1 thing here at OStateIllustrated.com and game threads are a huge part of that.
We will typically start the weekly game thread one to one-and-a-half hours before kickoff.
Every single game thread is it’s own rollercoaster ride, with overreactions (some extreme) to every good or bad thing that happens. In the end, game threads end up being a lot of fun and often take on a life of their own, where 10+ pages of comments is the norm, but some run to 25 or more.
