The Pitt Panthers impressive 2025 season on Saturday with a 35-20 road win over Stanford.

This runs Pitt’s win streak to 5 games and improves their overall record to 7-2 and 5-1 in the ACC. Following yesterday’s results, Pat Narduzzi’s squad is just a half game out of first place.

ACC STANDINGS
Virginia: 5-0
PITT: 5-1
Georgia Tech: 5-1
Louisville: 4-1
SMU: 4-1
Duke: 4-1

Pitt will have a bye this week to try and get their roster healthy before hosting ranked Notre Dame next Saturday at Acrisure Stadium.

Considering the way Pitt is playing along with losses in the Top 25; it’s getting time to wonder if the voters will consider ranking the Panthers for the first time this season?

We’ll find out the answer to that this afternoon but at least one AP voter will vote to rank Pitt. On3’s Brett McMurphy released his ballot and has Pitt as one of his Top 25 teams.
