With its top four returning players back and two more young redshirt freshmen prepared to make an impact, the Pitt defensive tackle room may be one of the deepest units the program has seen in recent memory. The defensive tackle unit of Sean FitzSimmons, Nick James, Francis Brewu and Isaiah Neal, along with Jahsear Whittington and Ty Yuhas right on the cusp, is one that is ready to set a new standard in the trenches. “I think this room that we’re in right now can be one of those rooms that are talked about years from now in a sense of how deep we are,” Neal said.
