For the second time in the last week, the Duquesne Dukes have received a commitment for their Class of 2026.

Draft Express is reporting that Greek center Dimitrios Ntapsis has given a commitment to HC Dru Joyce and the Dukes. Ntapsis is 7-foot, 280-pounds and was Greece’s starting center at the FIBA U18 Eurobasket this past summer.

A trend is developing on Duquesne in terms of where they’re getting their big guys.

2025-26 Duquesne Roster:
-Jakub Necas (6’10”, 240-pounds)- Czech Republic
-Frederik Jellum (6’10”, 210-pounds)- Copenhagen, Denmark
-Stef van Bussel (610″, 265-pounds)- Ommel, Netherlands
-Lazar Milosevic (6’10”, 258-pounds)- Bileća, Republika Srpska

The size of Ntapsis will be needed next season as Duquesne is scheduled to loss David Dixon and John Hugley to graduation.

Previously, 2026 Spire Academy 6’4″ guard Jackson Williams has announced his commitment to Duquesne.
