Eli Holstein, Pitt Preparing for 'Crazy' West Virginia Environment

Growing up in the south, Pitt quarterback Eli Holstein never really heard about the Backyard Brawl. As an LSU fan, all he knew was hatred for Ole Miss, Alabama and other regional matchups. However, it was an eye-opening experience when Holstein received his first taste of the Backyard Brawl in 2024. Holstein helped lead a Pitt comeback in the fourth quarter for a 38-34 victory over West Virginia.
