We’re heading into another weekend of college football action which means that WPIAL recruits will be taking game day visits to various schools.
It’s time to take a look at some of those visits along with some recent offers that were extended by Pitt and also offers that WPIAL players have received in the Frank Walker Law/PSN Daily Notebook.
*Pitt extends an offer to 2027 linebacker Isaiah Andrews from Thomasville, Georgia. Andrews (6’1″, 230-pounds) holds 13 other offers but this becomes his first from a Power 4 program.
*Pitt extends an offer yesterday to 2027 wide receiver/defensive back Elias Pearl from Port Charlotte, Florida. Pearl received the news from Pitt WR coach JJ Laster. Pearl has also received offers from South Florida, Syracuse and Toledo.
*Clairton 2028 defensive back Brandon Murphy received an offer yesterday from Kent State. Murphy (6’1″, 185-pounds) holds Power 4 offers from Maryland, West Virginia, Florida State, Pitt, Penn State, Kentucky, Syracuse and Wisconsin.
*McKeesport 2027 4-star wide receiver Javien Robinson will be making a game day visit on Saturday to Rutgers. Robinson has Power 4 offers from Rutgers, Pitt, Penn State, Miami Fla., Florida State, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
*Central Catholic 2027 3-star athlete Zachary Gleason will be making a game day visit on Saturday to Michigan. Gleason holds Power 4 offers form Pitt, West Virginia, Syracuse, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, California, SMU, Indiana, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Michigan State.
