Here’s a look at the latest offers coming from the Pitt football program along with offers to players in the WPIAL.

-2027 3-stat linebacker Minikon Johnson from Bishop Canevin High School has received an offer from SMU. Johnson (6’2″, 215-pounds) was previously committed to West Virginia and currently holds offers from Penn State, Sacramento State, Akron, Kent State and Liberty.

-Pitt extends an offer to 2027 tight end Christian Hanshaw from American Fork, Utah. Hanshaw received the offer from Pitt TE’s coach Jacob Bronowski. Along with Pitt, Hanshaw (6’5″, 230-pounds) holds offers from BYU, Utah, California and Arizona State.

-Pitt extends an offer from 2028 running back Zyien Dupree from Lake Belton High School in Temple, Texas. Dupree received the offer from Pitt assistant Jacob Bronowski. This becomes his second Power 4 offer (SMU).

-Pine-Richland 2027 4-star wide receiver Khalil Taylor received an offer over the weekend from Colorado. This offer came from new Colorado WR coach Brennan Marion. Taylor is rated by On3 Sports as one of the Top 100 players in the Class of 2027 and holds offers from Pitt, Penn State, Ohio State, Nebraska, West Virginia, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Indiana, Florida State, Oregon, Virginia, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech.
