How Will Pitt Football's Linebacker Depth Look After Injuries?

Pitt took a substantial hit to its linebacker depth Thursday morning when head coach Pat Narduzzi announced season-ending injuries to a pair of key rotational pieces. Sophomore Jeremiah Marcelin, who was tabbed to be the backup at middle linebacker, and Ohio State transfer Jayden Bonsu, a top reserve on the outside, will miss the entire 2025 campaign. While the starting three are still intact – Rasheem Biles, Braylan Lovelace and Kyle Louis – it puts a big dent in the depth of the linebacker room.
