Mason Heintschel Reflects on First Month as Pitt Starting QB
PITTSBURGH — It’s been a “surreal” first month as the Pitt starting quarterback for freshman Mason Heintschel.
Heintschel broke the freshman single-game passing record at Pitt against NC State, is 4-0 as a starter with over 1,000 passing yards and has racked up several ACC weekly accolades.
On Wednesday, Heintschel met with the media to reflect on his first month as the Pitt starter, how he has handled the newfound success and what he still needs to improve on.
