Pitt Back in the College Football Playoff Rankings
Following their important win over Georgia Tech, Pat Narduzzi and the Pitt Panthers are back in the College Football Playoff Rankings.
After falling out of the rankings following their loss to Notre Dame, the playoff committee has placed Pitt back in the Top 25 and ranked at No. 22.
With No. 12 ranked Miami, Fla. coming to town on Saturday, this will be the first time Pitt has played two ranked on-ranked matchups at home and in the regular season since 2003.
If Pitt were to beat Miami, they’d obviously make a nice jump next week and there’s a good chance they’d finish the season ranked regardless of what happens in the bowl game.
