Pitt Injury Report: Initial Player Availability Released vs. Louisville

A new policy implemented by the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for the 2025 season requires teams to provide an availability report ahead of conference games as Pitt and Louisville released their first reports detailing any injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s matchup.
Starting running back Desmond Reid and cornerback Tamon Lynum are listed as questionable, along with reserve cornerback Rashan Murray. Defensive end Jaeden Moore is listed as out.
Reid played in just the first quarter against West Virginia two weeks ago before staying on the sidelines for the remainder of the game. He recorded six carries for 30 yards.
Lynum exited the Central Michigan game with an injury and did not play against WVU. Murray is a new addition to the Pitt injuries. Of note, Rashad Battle is not listed on the availability report. He has missed the last two games with a hand injury.
Pitt has eight players listed as out, but only one of those players are on the current two-deep depth chart with that being Moore. The Oregon transfer has yet to play a game this season and was spotted with a boot on his left foot when the Panthers took on West Virginia.
Other players out for Pitt: LB Jayden Bonsu (out for season); RB Synkwan Smith (out for season); RB Jaylin Brown (out for season); LB Jeremiah Marcelin (out for season), RB Derrick Davis Jr. (out for season); TE Adam Howanitz, DL Denim Cook.
Wide receiver Censere Lee is listed as probable. He has yet to play this season after recovering from a season-ending injury he suffered in the Clemson loss last November.
For Louisville, RB Keyjaun Brown, RB Jamarice Wilder, RB Shammai Gates, QB Travis Egan, DB Rodney Johnson and LB Stanquan Clark are all out.
RB Isaac Brown, LB Antonio Watts, DL Wesley Bailey, RB Duke Watson and DL Rene Konga are all listed as questionable.
