Pitt Injury Report: Initial Player Availability vs. NC State

The initial injury report for Pitt football’s matchup with NC State at Acrisure Stadium has been released, per the ACC’s newly required availability report.
Pitt will once again be without starting left tackle Jeff Persi.
The other notable injuries come via the questionable slot, especially in the linebacker room.
Starting linebackers Rasheem Biles and Kyle Louis are listed as questionable. Biles was a late scratch and missed the Syracuse game last week. Louis suffered a head injury in the first quarter against the Orange.
Nick Lapi made his first-career start in place of Biles. Lapi is also listed as questionable for the upcoming NC State matchup.
Starting defensive end Blaine Spires is listed as questionable as well as he continues to work back from an injury suffered against Louisville. Long snapper Nilay Upadhyayula is also questionable.
Cornerbacks Rashan Murray and Shadarian Harrison are listed as questionable.
Running back Desmond Reid, who has been dealing with an ankle injury and was not 100 percent during the Syracuse game, per Narduzzi, is not listed at all on the report.
